Optimize:
Expected profit per unit of capital per transfer-list slot per day
Do not optimize the largest possible headline selling price. A smaller sale completed twice can outperform a large theoretical margin that blocks a list slot for a week.
Confirmed market structure
- Players are acquired through Transfer List, Scout, and Negotiations.
- OSM is not a conventional ascending-bid auction market.
- Engine purchases contain substantial randomness.
- Higher asking prices and expensive/high-rated players are generally harder to sell.
- Selling tends to become harder late in the season.
- Events can improve sales, replenish the market, speed the Scout, and expand list capacity.
- Direct Sell can provide emergency liquidity, but current price/Boss Coin cost must be checked in the live UI.
- Squad minimums constrain sales.

Ideal trading asset
Low acquisition cost

Favor:
- cheap and mid-priced players;
- younger players when economics are otherwise similar;
- ratings below the most illiquid elite bands;
- scarce positions in your current league;
- assets with a tolerable downside if the engine does not buy;
- early/mid-season inventory;
- sale-event catalysts.
Treat 100+ players mainly as sporting assets unless the acquisition discount or event catalyst is strong. The exact point of illiquidity varies by league and stage.

Interpretation:
- 13–16: strong flip
- 10–12: acceptable, especially with sporting utility
- 7–9: speculative
- 0–6: avoid as pure inventory
Asking-price ladder
Use the live in-game maximum as authoritative. These are starting ranges, not engine rules:

Reduce another 10–20% when liquidity is urgently required. Do not assume an event guarantees a sale.

Listing-slot policy
Normal allocation:
- 2 slots: fast low/mid-value turnover
- 1 slot: higher-margin mid-tier trade
- 1 slot: squad disposal or speculative asset
When events expand capacity, use extra slots partly to clear normally difficult inventory rather than only adding more low-margin assets.
Daily transfer routine
- Refill empty listing slots.
- Scan for young, cheap, sub-100, or locally scarce candidates.
- Calculate cost/value multiple, realistic resale, probability, profit, and hold time.
- Confirm squad floors and cash buffer.
- Buy only if the trade clears your return threshold or materially improves the XI.
- Review unsold players on the repricing schedule.
- Reinvest completed-sale proceeds quickly.
- Check the official event schedule; do not act on rumors.
- Log every transaction manually.

After 50–100 observations, compare sale probability and time-to-sale by rating, age, position, season stage, and event. Your league-specific log is more useful than a universal price myth.
